Take I-55 to the CASS AVENUE exit. (Cass Avenue is southwest
of I-294 or Route 83 but northeast of I-355.) Take Cass Avenue south
and go a short distance to second road on the right. This is Northgate
Road and there will be a vertical sign at the southwest corner that says "Argonne"
since this road is also main entrance to Argonne National Laboratory.
Turn right (west) and go about 250 feet and turn right into the
trailhead parking lot. (If you get to main gate of Argonne, you have
gone too far.)
